Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.
Our Bronze Members are able to enjoy a lot of great services for free but our Silver and Gold Members are eligible for a whole lot more! Read all the details about our Membership Benefits?

Hi @bush - welcome to GADC

thanks for the welcome guys ,hope to contribute some west coast magic scenes !
Hi from sunny Blackpool.
Love Glen Coe, have spent a fair bit of time there in my youth climbing , winter & summer.
done a bit of climbing ,in glen coe and our playground, pol dhu ! never did any winter stuff but the kids in the hotel i worked did ,got enough of winter hills with the forestry !
Pol dhu, is that Glen Nevis? Seem to remember going climbing in the Coe and weather shite, my mate took us to an area where good hard climbing could be had, bloody desperate if you ask me, mica schist & clegs evil biting bastards.
if it was clegs it could have been Pol Dubh , it reminds me a bit like Borrowdale in the lakes ,really good roadside crags ,still have one guide book for Glen Nevis ,good to look through it now and again ,some good memories ,i don’t climb or ski any more ,i lost my left leg in 2010 ,and that also terminated my job as bar boss in the Clachaig ,but still i have memories of great days on the mountain !
absolutely brilliant , can’t remember that hut being there though !
Sorry to hear about the leg
, was touch and go with my right back in 2007.
Spent many a great night in the Clachaig. Do they still have the “Campbell menus” still up behind the bar?
