I love wales & have flown there a few times, my sister also lives in the south of wales, so many nice places to photo but quite a long drive for me, have been to the north of wales “ snowdonia “ but I wasn’t into droning then, I’m not familiar with Wrexham but I’m guessing you have some stunning views in & around,

There are a few places around here i go down the coast alot but need to look around a bit more now getting fed up with the same places i have been up to blackpool but i am afraid to fly around the tower area

Ah yes I know that feeling to well mate, nothing around here apart from bricks & breeze blocks 
In all seriousness tho some of the places I’ve been to since droning I didn’t even know existed, it’s funny you know, since I’ve been droning / amateur photography I seem to take note of things more / surroundings & certain places as before I never really noticed that there are / is some actually stunning places in the uk.
Edit : was meant to say,
There’s quite a few members on here from in & around Blackpool that occasionally have meet ups at the tower & have flown resulting in some epic photos / videos etc, keep your eye open for meets in the north west & maybe go along to see what it’s all about, also seeing others fly there may help you boost your confidence to do the same yourself …

I agree with that i went upto Scotland camping with my dad and took my dji phantom 3 never sent it in the air because where we was staying was restricted airspace so a bit gutted about that i would have got some stunning pics

Hi Lee, welcome to Grey Arrows from just outside Manchester, only about 50 mins away IIRC?
Check out the Groups area, and specifically the Groups North West, we arent too far away and often have a meet up t least a couple of times a month - Blackpool Tower is a dawn meet up on Good Friday for us, it has become a tradition…
Have you flown Pistyll Rhaeder? Great waterfall for some drone flying…
