I retired from professional photography a few years ago but maintained my interest in photography for personal enjoyment until three years ago when some serious health issues hit me like a truck and limited my mobility which put paid to any photography expeditions.
I am coming out of it now but there was a light-bulb moment when my son won a DJI Mini 3 Pro in a competition a couple of months ago and suddenly the idea that I could drive somewhere with my wife for a nice day out, park up, open up a camp chair from the back of the car and take off with my own drone and begin to get great images and video without having to trek there for great location shots.
I purchased my own DJI Mini 3 Pro just a few weeks before the DJI Mini 4 Pro was released but I’m happy that with some subtle post-processing I will be able to get results from the 3 to match the 4.
I have joined the Club because it feels like a knowledgable and welcoming place to be, with lots of resources to help me get in to flying fairly quickly.
I’m looking forward to contributing to the forums, finding suggestions for areas to visit and learning a lot.

MINI3 Pro is a great bit of kit, had mine for 14 months now and getting some grerat results - although my past was photography based I am pretty much exclusively doing video with the drones and loving it…
