Hi from Ascot, Berks

I’m very much a ‘Newbie’!
Have just got my Flyer & Operator ID’s, Insurance and will probably buy a Mini 4 Pro tomorrow.
Will start out in my garden, but looking for some local spots with space and not bothering anybody to hone my skills. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Kirky,
Good to meet you. I just took the plunge and ordered the Mini 4 Pro mega bundle.
Excited!
If you are able to suggest a good place in our neck of the woods to get flying - that would be great :+1:t3:

Are you happy to take a short drive to binfield ?
It’s only 10 mins from ascot …

Morning Kirky! Yes very happy to drive to Binfield, it’s not far at all.

Ok just trying to conjure up a spot I sorta of know,
Nice little place with a meadow & parking etc,
No hazards usually reasonably quiet I’ll post the link once I’ve done it, also once you’ve learned your basics as you mentioned in your first post ‘ depending ‘ on when you go out I may be able to meet you there if you need a bit of help, my son only lives 15 mins from there so I maybe able to kill 2 birds with one stone :+1:

I’m sharing a what3words address to help you find this specific location. Tap to see exactly where it is:

///gold.rope.dare

In the week would be better as I’m sure it will be quieter.

Sounds perfect! I would ideally go there next week if the weather is OK. My garden is not huge, so a ‘meadow with no hazards’ sounds a lot more appealing.
Would be great to meet you too…once I have got the basics mastered :+1:t3:

Keep me updated & as long as I’m about it won’t be a problem, I think the weather is supposed to be a tad better next week but we know how predictable the weather can be :+1:
