Hi, I’m in Conwy, North Wales, and new to the group. I’ve had several small drones in the past, never very successful, they could be viewed as toys by many serious pilots! I now have a Mavic 2 Pro, very much a step up, but I’m still at that nervous stage, not entirely comfortable. But the more I fly, the better it gets! Mike

Welcome to the group, I think that when (like me) have had the toy ones that decide to do a run for it as soon as they are off the ground, it is in your head that they all do this. Only after practice and flying do you get to trust them more. I still am cautious of ours but love the way they respond and behave. The smaller ones are not reliable and sometimes I think “it is listening to the controller” as it appears to just do it’s own thing.
