Never owned or flown a drone until 02/05/24. Really enjoying it so far and looking forward to learning all the different settings and editing options. Always happy for recommendations of locations yet always worried I’m going to annoy people by flying or get in to trouble

I’m just down the road from you in Pompey! I’m currently owning and flying an Air 3 after selling my Mini 3 Pro. I’ve flown both here and abroad so please feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions. Having said that, there are a huge amount of very helpful members on here who are always willing to give help and advice regarding everything to do with drones!…which is why I’m so glad I joined

I’ve been a member for a couple of years but health has forced a break from flying for the past 8month or so.

Hey Sarah, I spend the vast majority of my time flying around coastal areas. You will normally find me out Southsea ( quite often Eastney by the Lifeboat station) but anywhere along the seafront is possible. From my garden I’m only a few hundred feet to the sea but without vlos so I generally load up my car ( including flask and butties, natch! ) and see where I end up!
Being in Fareham I would head to Gosport and see where you can find that really ‘floats your boat’ and takes your fancy…after all, experimenting with new areas is all part of the fun!
Very early mornings ( pre dawn ) and late evenings are my preferred times for the best lighting situations.
