Holmfirth? Haven’t I heard of that? Yes you have, or at least you’ve seen it if you ever watched Last Of The Summer Wine! So when I get better at this drone malarkey, I’ll try to get some local footage. As for me, I have wanted a drone for a while, passed the test and got the licences, then bought cheap and foreign. After that disaster i now have the mini 4 pro and out learning!

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.
And finally, if you are new to drones and wondering what it’s all about, have a look at Resources for a beginner.

Welcome @BankerDJ to the group. My hubby @Foley and I look forward to when the weather is better to get some pictures and footage around Holmfirth. We drove past the pub not long ago on our way back from a meal in west yorkshire, The Navigation Inn. Beautiful part of the country.

Been there, and failed fantastically lol, now have a few DJI drones, starting off with a MINI 2, and they MINI 3 pro, and Mavic 3, and @Foley won a Neo with one of the GADC comps. MINI 4 Pro is a great choice.

Stayed in the White Horse (used by LOTSW, some years ago) ,my partners treat as I’m a fan of LOTSW, when we went to Denby Dale for the pie (2000), I went to the 64 one too.
