Hi all just a quick hello from Leicestershire. I’m completely new to drones, I’ve just bought myself a used DJI Air 2S.

I’m going to be using the drone mostly for making videos when I’m out canoeing.

Lots to learn and I’ll have loads of questions for sure!

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Taken my first practice flight this afternoon, nothing too dramatic, just getting a basic feel for the controls and the DJI app. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, I’m hooked :smiley:

Hi Sauce. How are you faring flying and canoeing?
I SUP so probably a bit more. Precarious than you :skull: if it goes wrong.
Are you on more open waters or canal or river?
