Hi, thanks to YouTube, and a channel called “Ian From London” I have found myself here. I have owned a Mavic Pro for a couple of years, but not really flown it much, (about 20 hours) my main reason for buying a drone, was to use it as a camera, more than for video, but soon discovered that the places I could fly it, limited what I could actually take pictures of, so it has been collecting dust a bit. Not wanting to give up, I have downsized, and managed to get a Mini 2, which comes with better access to places I actually want to photograph. I will of course still do some video as well, but the editing process is a bit daunting TBH, so, until I have time to learn how to edit video, that will still take a back seat.
I retire in a couple of years, so will likely then take a course.
I look forward to learning from topics on this forum.

Thanks for the heads up, it was because the YouTube video recommended the Drone Scene map that got me here.

Not knowing anything about FPV, I am guessing you need some open space, there is a large public field very close to the Uni, along Neals Place road. Open land close to you
Thanks , been enjoying it for while ![]()
