Hello, hopefully this “intro” is in the correct place. Just ordered my drone, a dji mini 3. I’ve never flown properly so looking forward to jumping in. I’m midlands based just outside Derby. Anyone else about? Thanks

Me and the Mrs are in chesterfield which isnt a million miles away. We have the Mini 2se and Mini 4 pro and only been flying since November last year. Im sure you will love this hobby

We have not been to any meets as yet and not sure of any clubs other than this one (GADC). We have just been picking areas of interest and getting out there. Its surprising how many other drone pilots you meet along the way and the majority of people are interested and curious in what we are doing. Its also great to edit the footage and see the final footage and say “i did that”!!

Hi there @Benj25 and welcome. We are in Brum but try to get out and about when we can. DJI mini 3. Good choice. Great little drone. You will enjoy it.

Just remember - Operator ID, Flyer ID, and avoid sports mode (obsticle sensors turn off and easier to crash).

You will love flying these little gems. Love ours.

I did one and was really impressed with it… Really was… lost it on hard drive and no idea where it is. Grrr…
