How do you get Google Photos to create 360 degree photos?

Just got a Mini 4K, and tried the “sphere” mode.
Uploaded the 26 images to my Google Photos account, as my default cloud backup.

A while later I noticed that a new image was in the folder … it was a 360 deg. image that I presume Google created?

Since then, I’ve uploaded a few other sphere photo sets … but only one had this extra 360 deg. image added.

Is there some trick to get these 360 deg. created ???

Hi @steveculshaw it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

Good idea :+1:

… done

Probably not, if you viewed the 360 in the Fly App it will have created a stitched version that got uploaded with the 26.

Its a bit hit and miss with Google Photos (even more so with Facebook) around the Mini2/4K , have a read of the following and my experience

I’d not realised I could view the 360 in the Fly App

  • my download folder only has the 26 photos in it

Thanks for the link … more to read and get to grips with :+1:
