Its that time of year for the annual autumn Humber Bridge meet.
This is something that we have done for a number of years and is usually well attended.
The location affords cracking views of the humber bridge and some of the best sunrise pictures you can get this side of the humber.
It will be attended by @milkmanchris , myself and possibly @speatuk .
We would welcome anyone that would like to come along and will add it is usually a very well attended meet up.
We plan to meet on the Barton side of the bridge (opposite side to Hull for those that are not local) at the following location
There is plenty of parking, public toilets and a decent cafe for bacon butties and brews - menu and details can be found here

There is also a service station with greggs, costa and all of the things you could need as you come off the bridge in to Barton.
We plan to arrive around 6:45 am as the sunrise should be around 7:15 am if its a clear day.
We usually hang around for a good few hours, so if getting up early isnt your thing others arrive around 8/9am.
For those that fly more FPV drones - theres always a trip across the water to the bando at the docks if you get bored of the scenery at the bridge.
Have a look at last years post to see what we got up to:
Following on from a couple of previous excellent meets (links below), myself, @speatuk and @Howard78 are inviting anyone who fancies a morning of flying, electric scootering, banter and laughs to join us on Sunday 18th September (more on the time later).
Intention is to stay at the bridge for a couple of hours then decamp to Fort Paull or St Andrews Dock and the abandoned Lord Line building, unfortunately unless you are coming from the swamp area you’re going to get bitten for the toll crossing…
Any questions - please ask.
Hopefully see a few of you there!

Obviously the weather will play a part in people coming along - this will be watched and if needed an alternative date found.

Mine too. Didn’t have it last year.
However @speatuk tried his and couldn’t get it to take off due to no gps. Definitely a take off outside job!

Great news mate - It’s usually a good meet with options to take nice pictures and a bando just across the water too.

Yeah that’s a better bet for the bando.
There’s some gaps you could probs do with the avata.
I usually bring an assortment

There is plenty of places to fly near by.
You’ll be fine with the avata near the bridge as it’s a huge area.
There’s also plenty of space at the bando which is at the old docks. I’m sure there’s a post or two about them
Here’s a video showing the bando
