I live in Rickmansworth and one of our other esteemed members lives in Ruislip @MiMo28. We’re looking for somewhere to fly away from people and nfz’s with some interesting objects or scenery. Any suggestions welcome – something within 30-45 mins from WD3 would be great.
We had thought about combining some fly-time with some cycling. Getting a train from Watford up to Hemel then cycling back down the Grand Union (8-10 miles) and seeing if we can find some spots to fly the drone on the way. (Moreno wants to try the follow-me mode!). This route skirts around some nfz’s but looks clear all the way.
But if anyone has any other suggestions, please share. Old disused buildings, water features etc.
