Introducing Panoee - Kuula killer, you decide

I am getting a size error uploading a flat image to the floor plan option.

What size image are you uploading?

Is it this one you are uploading? … which has a 100px x 100px limit …

image

Also - I know when I was trying to upload a logo for the nadir, I had a “not large enough” message when uploading a 98k logo to the wrong section …

image

… there are two - “Pano” and “Asset”.

image

Exactly what the difference and their intended use is, I’m uncertain (@panoee360 ?) … but if one was throwing a message, try the other?

Hi. Im a supporter of Panoee. Thanks for using our app? Have you resolved your problem? Can you share me your link so i can check for you?

Hi. Pano is just only used for scene (only includes image 360 and size quite large), and vice versa, asset just for smaller size, used for flat image

Thanks for the confirmation. :+1:

Maybe recently we’re limiting min size upload for images, we’re gonna adjust it soon  Thank you

Problem solved thanks after a PC restart. PC was just having a funny five minutes. Quite common with me :see_no_evil:

Yes - daft having a 100px square maximum size. I had missed that.

Means I can’t use the software for a big tour (70 plus images) as it is impossible to get those onto a small ‘floorplan’.

I was seeing if this was better than Kuula - and whilst it looks very good for small projects I am not sure how it will work for larger tours.

I was seeing if this can be recreated and if Panoee is better. (I need to add another dozen images).

I appreciate that what I am trying is not common, and maybe I am trying to push the limits. But there are some large tours out there, especially for education facilities and business.

I did try uploading the base image as a regular image, but it is not possible to show a flat image as flat - it only wants to show it as a 360. Unless I missed something.

The other good thing about Kuula is that I can duplicate parts of it in a new tour without recreating it.

@leo_panoee @panoee360 happy to work with you offline if it helps.

Would also like to know a bit more about the custom domain - are there any examples of this in action?

I’ve just had a quick play and uploaded a floorplan (959x732) with no issues

The radar feature is cool

Yes I totally agree. I have been using Panoee for a couple of months and think it is fantastic.

I have taken hundreds of panos over the past three years and tried lots of viewing tools. Kuula free version doesn’t allow you to link multiple panos and it has a max image width of 16,384 pixels. For a year I used the free Klapty - but they started charging at the end of last year. I then stumbled on Panoee and think it is best of breed.

I have found some small issues which I have fed back to the developers.

Yes. Default we host your tour on domain Panoee | The Smart Virtual Tour Software for everyone, but for any reason, you don’t want domain is Panoee | The Smart Virtual Tour Software for everyone anymore, you want to use the domain that you is bought before (such as abc.com), so you can use the feature “custom domain” and after you did it, your link tour will be abc.com/slug_your_tour

I appreciate your feedback. We’ll fix it soon, after the end of our holiday  Thank you

Hi. We don’t limit how many your scene can have on tour. You totally create how many you want.
Here is our sample: Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc - Villa
Our tour currently has more than 80 scenes and it’s not a problem with this.

WIth floorplan, you can create more than 1 floorplan on tour. For the large tour, I think you need to use multiple floorplans.

Currently, we’re limiting the minimum size file upload, about 200kb, we’ll fix it soon, after the end of our holiday. Thank you for your feedback.

cheers chris, initial look it looks great and offers a lot more than kuula. I will investigate more and have a play with all the features.

Am I missing something but the tour you link to as a sample shows loads of images of nadir shots of your pano head…
