At least the returns policy is good with Amazon … if that’s any help.

ÂŁ500 for a zoom //checks piggy bank//.

Is there a link? I can’t find the above.

Just been on Amazon Chat they said that price is honoured

11:43 PM GMT Mr G R Corbett: Correct
11:44 PM GMT Mayank: Thank you for confirming .
I can see that you will charge only the listed price for the item offered by the seller .
11:46 PM GMT Mr G R Corbett: So if I buy at ÂŁ400 that is final and legitimate purchase
11:46 PM GMT Mayank: Yes as it is listed price on Amazon page .
11:47 PM GMT Mr G R Corbett: Ok Thank you
11:47 PM GMT Mayank: You are most welcome. I hope I have addressed all of your concerns? I just want to make sure you feel happy with the service you have received today.

Looks like a scam so be careful, I sent the seller a message before I saw this.

I’m guessing you pay and don’t receive anything and then Amazon refund you?

It looks like they are inviting you to come off Amazon and contact them to buy with some other means, hence the request to contact them direct. Amazon may not cover you if you’ve left their ‘market place’
But it does say on the bottom that they are used drones, so maybe, just maybe they might be faulty returns.

If you look at the email address it’s for a different seller. Dealberry are also on Amazon and have 25% negative review in the last 30 days. Were I to own a large bargepole, I wouldn’t use it to touch them.

I think they have 56 DJI products advertised, some of them I looked at it states as new but also at a very cheap price compared to that on the DJI website.
Also as you say the fact that they want you to contact them outside of Amazon and state about the “Online Dispute Resolution Platform” is definitely a no, you don’t see this until you go deeper though.

My thoughts exactly.

Well I did purchase last night and then got worried, I contacted Amazon again this morning who assured me it was not a scam and to get back to them if it does not arrive Wednesday as stated.

So this is how it is done:

The Third-Party Seller Asks You to Contact Them Before Paying

Instead of allowing you to pay on Amazon’s site for the item you want, the third-party seller will ask you to text him. Upon texting, you’ll receive texts or emails that ask you to purchase an Amazon gift card for the amount of your purchase. You will likely be asked to provide the card number to the seller, but once the seller receives the Amazon gift card number, you’ll never hear from him again.

As I was reading your reply I was thinking of what my reply was going to be
Your last sentence had that covered

Glad it wasn’t a long messy wait for your refund.

If you had taken delivery of a Mavic Air on Wednesday I would have been buying the Inspire 1 Black edition with X5 for ÂŁ400

That sounds about right, I wonder if anyone has actually gone down that road.

Your not on your own on that one @MementoMori

The annoying thing is I had 2 chats with Amazon CS and on both occasions they assured me this was genuine I have both chat transcripts, just checked Caroline’s lighting feedback over 20 negatives in past 48hrs. If it that easy to Hack Amazon then I will now only buy if it is fulfilled by Amazon and not third party I’m lucky on this one my refund is complete.

Check out this feedback:
