Just a quick intro shot…The Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank, Cheshire.
Lovely area, not sure if permission needed but I asked for it anyway. May be trickier now they are thinking of re-opening the centre, imagine the radio interference from that!

Ask them can you plug your controller into the dish to get better VLOS performance …

I don’t think you’d get much interference from the dish, it’s more the other way around, their kit is very sensitive to other signals, which is why they ask visitors to turn off their phones while on site.
