Jubilee Clock Tower - Added to Historic Buildings in East Midlands

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

  1. Gabled stone base. Tower red brick banded with stone, octagonal. Square section top in stone with 4 clock faces. Pointed bronze roof. Stone base has inscription and entry.

Lays just outside the Crown estates permission zone.

Ample parking on seafront after 6pm parking is free.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 01/03/2024. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

It’s the right way up now, but somehow, it’s a little “squished”. :man_shrugging:

I think DS isn’t portrait friendly. :frowning:

I thought that had been fixed in the most recent update?

Could be an issue with replacing an image rather than an initial image.

Maybe i should have resized it :person_shrugging:

End of day it’s only a guide :+1:

Leave it with us - will see what can be done.

Just added a cropped one to the above post of said pic, may help

The problem has been found … so even though it looks squished, it’s “found an issue”.

Will sort in due course. :+1:

Thanks Dave @OzoneVibe & @GADC_Committee

Apparently no permission needed as it’s already been granted ( according to Crown Estates)
