Jumper T-Lite and TinyHawk binding issues

sorry i posted the pic with all in and thought my shovel thumb was in shot to confirm and also my      as a thankyou.

i will do that but i think i have to install sound for beeper as it never heard it once when did have it set but i i whizz on this tiny remote screen  my eyes are sore focusing on the screen then a laptops and thumbs sore thinking there was a multiple move to arm it like liftoff in the corners :joy:

i was selling my other laptop which had boxed ready to go but very handy when doing this.

nearly forgot it was mentioned that i can disable one of the battery’s slot in betaflight instead of tinfoil or a plug is this correct.

The beeper make the motors beep so you won’t need to install anything. The battery will need to be connected and powered up and not connected to usb to hear the beeper.

And nope you won’t be able to configure the one battery in betaflight and it’s a physical connection. You’ll need to carry on with the tin foil or try and get hold of one of these:

beeper does not sound, im doing one mode and save at a time all set.

Have you gone through the switch setup on your radio the same as the arm switch?

Yes use bottom left to arm disarm bottom right up to set beeper nothing happens when motors running or not. Maybe another switch on betafkight needs to be engaged

Edit: glad I followed JB as setting the endpoints might be a better setup in liftoff simulator.

On the beeper range set it to Auto and flip the switch you set up for the beeper it should change from auto to AUX(number)

Then drag the yellow bar over to where the little yellow tick mark is (with the switch in the position you want it in when you want it to beep)

When I activate beeper I do see on the tinyhawk board red led light flashes but no sound and switch off it goes to normal settled colours.

Maybe have a look in blheli suite. There is a volume control.

@notveryprettyboy I’ve looked at setting but a wee bit hesitant to flash :flushed: it has startup beep and beacon volume if this means anything.

These the only 2 that I can connect to drone but what’s the difference as same setting’s, these are the settings it throws up after click read setup tab, it looks genuine as before read setup is clicked it’s different from BLHeli suite default page. Also tested motors and before this where it said multicopter it was blank previously. :slightly_smiling_face:

A Wiseman once mentioned battery’s attached :sunglasses:

E SILABS BLHeli Bootloader (Cleanflight)

6 ATMEL BLHeli/SK Bootloader (Cleanflight)

Looks ok. You can turn this up and write setup to each motor, but if there are no sounds when you activate the beeper, its something else wrong

I will test it thanks, what is the difference between SILABS and ATMEL ?

If I write to setup can it be reversed if balls my original good setup back in betaflight.

I’ve got the motors started thanks to you guys not JB :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: but still like his lessons as easy to learn and understand. :+1:

What I will say is after many hours days nights of trying to get this to work I was really pissed off and thought why I’m I doing this :rage::rage::rage: but looking back at the last few days if it did work straight out of the box I would definitely not have learnt as much as I have, when I first looked at my controller settings it was definitely looked daunting but after following JB doing alot of adjustments has teached me alot and betaflight still alot to get my head around but I’m able to go back and forth testing changes. :+1::+1::+1::+1:

I think only way to understand everything when I do a build and understand the relevance to each part as atm I’m looking at a drone and framework covering the working parts making seem as 1.

I’m definitely not running before I can walk. It’s simulator for wee while longer then test fly probably back to simulator :flushed: fly again break test my soldering skills then like said already add remove parts, then start building and getting a better understanding, I’m thankful that I have the support of you guys to direct me in the right direction.

Thanks :+1::+1::+1::+1:

On the Emax website they will have a download link to the Tinyhawk freestyle CLI dump file. If you download it and go to the CLI tab and click load from file and select the CLI dump file you downloaded, this will reset betaflight back to the Emax config from the factory.

So play with betaflight as much as you like, it can always be reverted back to the factory defaults set by Emax.

All info can be found here:

It’s the two manufacturers who make the processor chips.
Silabs seem to be the most common now, but Atmel has good pedigree

which is why some of us guys love building our own kit

I actually been using them files already :+1::+1::+1:, I used the Bnf file whats is the difference between BNF and CLI as mine is a tinyhawk freestyle Bnf.

Thanks @Steviegeek I will play with the BLHeli suite later. It not working has honestly made me appreciate and understand alot more.

@DeanoG60 I knew before mucking around was to get the factory settings file as backup but have more trouble with the remote as there website advertise the new wonderful controller but that’s it no support nothing related to it anywhere else on the site. I got latest opentx companion for the controller but did not support my controller mange to via rcgroups to find a build support T-lite but still seems to not work but I will give it another go. :+1:
