Langley chimney is a remnant from the lead mining times in Northumberland, it is about 6mls outside Hexham, the dam is a further 1/2ml down the road you take the road to Allendale out of Hexham, after roughly 6mls take the Alston road turnoff, you see the chimney on hhe left, the dam is a 1/2ml further on on the right past the crossroads.
You can pull off the road at the chimney, and there is a decent off-road pull off at the crossroads for the dam.
