I did a litchi test today with my A2s.
The mission had 15 waypoints and 5 poi’s.
I found that the camera would only lock onto 3 of the poi’s, after the 3rd one, the camera just seamed to stay in the last position. Also at waypoint 14 the drone stopped, it would not complete the mission and did not return to home without my interaction.
oh sorry this was undertaken with a smart controller on the amazon software.
Does that problem tie into their disclaimer in the link above?
I don’t know if this has been mentioned elsewhere yet, but it looks like Litchi for iOS now supports the Mini 2. Woohoo!
Three times so far
Excellent news though eh?
6 posts were merged into an existing topic: Litchi chit-chat … What’s Litchi? Should I use Litchi?
Excellent, I’ll give it a try
Steve, Don’t if your using DH
Hi Wayne
No, I’m on Drone Tweaks.
I have ran a mission on LITCHI BETA to test the gimbal action, it failed.
I said I’d not touch it again until the missing/corrected SDK had been provided by DJI.
Thanks for the heads-up anyway
Steve
Is there a problem using DH with litchi.
new litchi user waiting on better weather for first flight but also use DH (Fcc hack on mini 2)
No there is no issues with DH and Litchi, the issue is with the firmware update will stop DH working
Turn mobile data off for the flyapp, turn wifi off before opening the fly app if you are connected to a wifi network. I believe that if the app has been connected to the internet in any way it will automatically download the “DJI hack” that will tell you to update the drone and the drone becomes unusable if you don’t update.
I haven’t connected any of my drones or opened the fly app yet today. So I can’t vouch for this just waiting for someone else to do it first
Steve, I don’t think that is the case, I just checked with my Mini 2, it says an update is available but it’s not forced. I have auto firmware update turned off
Just did a test flight in the kitchen without updating and all is ok
Turn off the internet connection and the update goes away
Turn it back on and it ask’s you to update
Thanks for the quick update Wayne.
I see a new version dropped, for Android, a couple of days ago.
V.4.22.0-g
… hmmm … that says 16th March … but it was 25th March on another page …
iOS was also updated, similar release notes too.
Seems Litchi are a lot better at releasing both versions at the same time than some manufacturers are
Don’t want to sound thick but what is a POI ???
Is it the same as apple poi and steak and kidney poi ???
Regards.
A “Point Of Interest” I think
