So in the last few days i’ve seen a couple of people live streaming from there drone to Youtube, so i thought i would give it a try today, all i get is Live Stream error, i’ve followed everything to the Point. Has anyone else had any issues or found it easy to setup
Which make and model of drone?
Sorry I thought i had added it in it’s the Mini pro 4 with RC2 Controller with the latest update
Do you mean that the fly app is giving the error when you try to go live?
Correct i have gone to press ‘Go Live’ it starts like it’s going too then a pop up message arrives ‘Live Stream Error, Please try again’
In the setup menu when you click rtmp do you have your credentials in both fields?
Rtmp server and stream key?
Yeah so i’ve done both ways i’ve entered in both boxes even done it like the videos from a year ago when they had to put the stream key immediately after the Rtmp Address
Ahhh ok i’ll give that a try 
Then open up youtube studio. The web based version works best for me.
Click on stream and it should look something like
I did have to go through an authorisation process with youtube before it would let me stream.
I still cant stream directly from a mobile device as they require a minimum of 50 subscribers before they let you
I need to drive for an hour or so now.

The 50 subs is the problem I hit when I wanted to do this for the family - any decent alternatives??

The 50 limit is for streaming from mobile devices. Phones, tablets etc.
If your source is a webcam or something rtmp like a dji drone then you should be good to go. After the relatively painless authorisation procedures youtube like to stick to.
As to other platforms. I’ld say Twitch is well worth a look at. At a basic level it’s more straightforward than youtube. I dont recall any auth procedures but i did have an account for a long time before i started streaming there
