Long range flights - opinions?

Have to agree on this, I actually prefer flying lower, more details in the shots.
Don’t get wrong it’s nice to see afar but my choice would be to fly lower rather than higher.

You will be pleased to know I’ve now been seconded to the face mask police in Tenerife.
3rd from the left - I’m undercover.

You may well mock, I’m going to the Rife on 2 April

If you believe you are suitably equipped to fly BVLOS and you know the area you want to fly you can apply for an exemption, both on a temporary basis and permanent.

As an example our flying site has a standing exemption allowing us to fly to a maximum altitude of a 1000ft AGL. This only pertains to fixed wing models as some of us fly large scale jets capable of reaching 400ft in seconds, and large thermal gliders that utilise thermals above 400ft. The caveat is that this privilege is only available to those whom have a recognised level of proficiency.

Nidge.

No mocking intended. Keep safe and return healthy. Hopefully by then things may have stabilised.
