Master Airscrew props for Mini 2 & SE

Seems to be very little if any difference in loudness between them.

Interesting video, thanks for sharing

More a matter of tone than volume I think

I think that’s the case with the DJI and Autel low noise props too.

Which is very important, higher pitched noises travel further.

Just fitted the master Airscrew props to the mini 2. Changed the drone livery to match. Quick flight done to make sure I am ready for Saturdays bonfire night flight. Weather permitting.

Does it sound any different?

Does not sound quieter and there seems to be a different sound pitch to it.

Hi do you know if they add any weight to the Mini to take it above the 249g limit?

Haven’t got scales so don’t know. But was thinking about it after flight, so will have to get it checked out. Sorry.

Scales ordered, Amazon. If no one else knows I will come back to you over the week end on flight weight.

I cannot see any info about weight on the Website and with it being a USA site they may not be as bothered as us over here.

Don’t worry about the weight, if over it will only be a few gram’s

Know one goes around weighting drones

The only people with scales are drug dealers

Weight comparison OEM v. MAS

Mini 2 OEM

Mini 2 MAS

Air 2 OEM

Air 2/2S MAS

So for the Mini 2 they are 0.9g heavier, while those for the Air 2 are 0.1g lighter

Why would you not care? Are you willing to risk a fly-away that could end up causing serious damage or injury? Having non-OEM parts would be a perfect get-out for you public lability insurers.
