Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom Chat

Aye - was looking at that thread the other day - can’t seem to get the M2 over 45.4 - Spark has maxed at 33.9.
The M2 seems to hold back power wise when it’s being pushed along by the wind - I’d guess anything over stock speed is only momentary until it figures out what’s going on and dials the power back .

They are all ground-speed limited, so you’re right.

A shame, really, because that means their up-wind max air-speed must be really interesting!

I have tried NLD on the Spark - only to change the speed settings - I must say it’s a bit shocking how much speed you can unlock on the Spark, eats the battery though so it’s back to stock now.
You can make it ascend like its arse is on fire. And descend like god flicked it back to earth :open_mouth:.

Swapping out the tripod switch with ATTI mode is the way to go for speed runs.

It’s on my list and might get round to it some day.

Can you remember how to switch it on?

This is probably what I need. Being shamed into getting out and flying

I can’t now get that picture out of my head

Heads up for Mavic 2 owners.

I’ve not had a chance to check this myself but I’m reading the CSC (emergency shutdown) option is set to “Always” as default on Mavic 2.

MP default was “emergency only” to avoid accidently stopping motors mid flight.

You may want to check the setting in GO4.
