Mavic 2 Pro as a first drone?

Ah! the other question was how portable is the M2P, I know the Mavic Air fits in a pocket or there abouts, is the M2P a bacpack job?

If you buy the Combo, it comes with it’s own carry case.

This is JUST for the Combo kit, and not the drone !.

Yep, i’m sure we can sort something out

What I was getting at can you chuck it in your pocket :astonished:or is it too big

Its a bit big for the pocket, unless you have a big anorak pocket.
Would not be something I would trust in any pocket.
Best in a case to keep the Camera safe.
Loads of good backpacks available though.

Is the backpack that comes with the fly more combo any good or just the usual cheap rubbish?

Chris where are you based?

It’s more like a man bag. Very good quality you can fit the drone, standard controller 3 spare batteries filters and spare props in it. I personally love it

Steve arefilters a must? the package i’m looking at doesn’t include any.

This is my area ,the hill is in the bottom right just above BJones by the woodland, once up there you can see for miles, the only problem I can foresee is the RAF do like to play through the valleys occasionally.

Me too.

Really compact and has everything you need.

Not to start with. But as you progress with your videos you will want them.

Which ones would be a first buy/must have?

I wouldnt bother at first.

You will get great results without them. Learn all the basics first.

Incorrect use of a filter can really ruin your shots and it’s something you really dont want to be worrying about at the start.

Hi Phil,
I have a Mavic Air and use a mini IPad with it.
The bigger screen really helps.

Enjoy your Mavic Pro.

Filters:

I brought some and have never used them.
Learn how to fly first, filters later.

A great machine to fly with good choice…

If I only had to have ONE drone, it would be the M2P! You’ll find it an excellent beginner and advanced drone in my opinion!
