Interesting little side article that goes into Telegram. It does appear firmware on modern drones can be hacked and altered to change/add/remove features but its not easy.
The Russians have done it for use in Ukraine. Given it needs specific places to do it i suspect its a JTAG or some other physical connection needed initially to get it.
Interesting all the same, there is potential hope for other 3rd parties to do the same to open them up in the same way Mavic 1 and others were.
