I’m organising a meetup at Culross :smiley:

When: Saturday, 26th July 2025

Start time: 13:00

Approximate end time: 17:00

Suitable for drone types: Camera Drones & FPV Drones

Additional notes:
Visiting the historic village of Culross, Fife. Outlander fans will recognise the streets and buildings from the first season of the show.

Landmarks include :
Culross Palace
Culross Abbey church and 12c ruins
Dunimarle Castle
West Kirk ruined church
Culross harbour and pier
Single track rail line to the demolished Longannet power station
Whale remains from 2024

Parking is at either the west or east car parks.

Food available in Bessie’s Cafe or The Red Lion pub.

I’ll be hoping to be there at some point, but there is Rally Scotland event taking place where I live on the Saturday, hoping to get the drones up for it. Will stick myself down as a maybe, depending on timings

Would have loved to make this, but I’m filming a wedding at The Den at Culross. They should be starting their wedding meal at 5pm though, so depending on how long the speeches take, might be able to pop down to the car parks and see if anyone is still about.
