Right then, flying in Monmouth this afternoon and got the warning on screen. There’s nothing on Drone Assist, but on the way back to my sisters, she pointed out this sign. Wonder if this is the reason for the warning ?

Looked on DS, but apparently I have to upgrade to unlock the layers ? Hmmmmm
Anyway, I’ve just had a look on the DJI GEOZONE map and found it. Apparently it’s some military HQ, near Osbaston, just outside Monmouth. 
Which helps fund all this you are getting and keeps the forum live, DS is worth it on its own, never mind all the rest and the members discount on some products

Yep Chris, I found that on the DJI Geomap
Compared to the cost of a Mini 3 Pro, 30p a week for GADC, Drone Scene, plus unrivalled, experienced support is nothing.

Sparky, this weekend has cost me enough. Driving to Monmouth from Derby ( via Kilsby and Gloucester) then driving to various attractions for the birthday challenge whilst I’m here. Still, it’s a lovely part of the world my sister lives in. She is truly blessed. ( and I have to drive back tomorrow along the dreaded M42) Or ( possibly worse for me) via M5/6 Spaghetti Junction ( Gravelly Hill Interchange)

Drone Assist do not show DJI Geo map layers. What they do continue to show are tall structures that have long been demolished.

If you look on Google you’ll see that it is the Monmouth Militia HQ - a TA Regiment. The most senior TA Regiment in the British Army.
DJIs auto map trawling has shoved blue zones over most military, TA and even cadet facilities, even those long since closed.
You’ll need to authorise if going over it but its instant and isn’t a real restrction.
If its not on Drone Assist etc, its fine to fly despite what DJI thinks.
