Mini 2 with a Strobon up it's port

Do strobons operate while charging?

I’m not sure they do but it’s been a while since I used mine.

Not too sure about a Cree but these 1 watt lights similar to them (called ‘beads’ ) use 350mA and hour and a 3 watt jobby uses 750mA and hour (usually)…

With a running time on the Strobon of 2 hrs, the circuit complete is pulling about 50 mA. Very scientifically worked out using hearsay of 2 hours run and 100mAH battery.

Yep…thought they might be regulated.

Just curious seems like a great idea for the odd night time flight or miserable grey day. As it has got its own what is the weight on its own without the cable? I just need to stay below the 250g for me to remain legal.

But no policeman is going to be carrying a set of scales with them.

It’s pretty certain that the drone’s official weight is key, not a few grams here-or-there.

A lot more info on them here : Those CREE Strobes are Sooo Bright!

With a strobe up its port!

Are your scales out? Or do all those stickers weigh 2g ? Or is this with the strobe attached?

No, can sell you a £ 55.37 bag of stuff if you like!

245g of “stuff”? You’ll never make a profit!

I will with my scales!

The ‘toast always lands butter side down’ theory applies here. If a drone, for whatever reason, drops out of the sky, it is guaranteed to land on/damage the most expensive part.

I am going to spread butter on top so if it falls it won’t land on gimble and break it.

Won’t that attract toast?
