I was under the impression that the Mini 4 Pro didn’t have Air Sense (ADS-B) however the other week whilst out flying my brand new drone I got a warning on the screen telling me that an aeroplane was detected nearby and the drone was descending to a lower height for safety (I was at circa 70m in the UK).
Is this something new or something I have completely missed?
(I posted this in a Facebook group and didn’t get a particular coherent response!!)
I asked this question on here and was told it didn’t have it , I thought it would of and that’s why I asked but I’m sure someone will shed some light ,
One of my regular spots is not far from a flight path and as a general rule although I dont have to I like to set my max height to 40m in that area as its all I need anyway. I see “manned aircraft nearby” regularly on an Air3.
For me with this post beyond it being weird a sub 250g drone having airsense but that it automatically reduces your altitude, this could lead to crashes depending on the situation and isnt mentioned at all as a feature?
Did you create a flight report using Drone Assist as that gas airspace alerts, I do recall a while ago I logged a flight in there and got some alerts through, that was before the Mini 4.
Not sure on the mini but it definitely has it on the air 3 not sure if this will show but I made a video, I heard the heli so I landed but it still showed on my RC
