Good evening all
My name is Nev I’m new to drones have been looking at getting the mini 4 pro,
have been reading about it and it certainly looks and sounds like a good one, but will carry on reading for the time being .
cheers for now
Nev
Hi, Nev, they are certainly a good drone to go for. We have the mini 3 Pro and they are great. The 4 is the next one up and we have seen a few people flying them and spoken to a lot of people. It is a good choice to go for.
Hi Nev @nevs and welcome to GADC
Hello Nev, welcome aboard.
I have a mini 4 pro and while i was debating on what to buy, I spoke to a pro drone pilot who was conduction an aerial survey at work.
I said I am thinking on getting a mini 4 pro.
He said dont,
why I replied?
He said don’t think about it, just buy it.
I have not looked back since.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.

Hi, and welcome. Where abouts are you located?
Hi OzoneVibe
Im located in Temple Ewell just out side Dover
Updated the thread title … it encourages those more local to you to pop in and say Hi.
Thank you
Hi from sunny Blackpool.
I second that. If your budget stretches to the mini 4 pro then go for it, you won’t regret it.
From the reviews I’ve seen it’s an upgrade from the Mini 3 Pro and it keeps it’s 250g credentials. I have been pondering on waiting for the next one in the mini Pro series and skipping the Mini 4 Pro purely on financial reasons so can save money for the next release. From what I have seen from people that own them is probably a good starter/enthusiast drone with better obstacle avoidance and camera.
Best of luck, I started with a Potensic and then after getting some flying hours(and a few crashes) under my belt have a Mini 3 pro.
Yes I’m another Nev.
BTW I was a Junior Leader Royal Engineers at Old Park Barracks, Dover in 1970 that has since been demolished.
Welcome Nev!
@nevs
Hi Nev
Just adding my bit for the Mini 4 Pro.
I spent a few months pondering but it’s been a great investment.
Only advice I’d add is go for the Care Refresh!
Incidentally the only comment I’ve ever had from bystanders is about how quiet it is - not something that I’d factored into my decision process……
Thanks I will look into that
Hi Nev - welcome to the Club. I’ve had my Mini 4 pro for a little while and am really impressed with it (new to drones and flying). Good quality pictures and video for me as a beginer. Flying is quite a learning curve but good fun and have had plenty of advice and support from other members of the club.
