That looks a great flying area - what altitude did you achieve?

good effort, perhaps try flying in slow mode to smooth things out a bit. Look forward to the next one

Not on this vid but I did hit 362ft

Set my drone ceiling to 360 so its quite accurate and obviously within the law

MM

362ft

Yes I’m lucky all I have to do is cross the road and I’m flying in that open space :helicopter:

Edited your YouTube link - you’d used the format that starts at a particular point (177 secs in this case) - rather than at the start.

So you had …

https://youtu.be/DJTi34hEK6Q?t=177

… rather than …

https://youtu.be/DJTi34hEK6Q

Thanks for fixing it :+1:
that’s why it’s so good to be part of this scene/group everyone helps without negative criticism

Not sure how I got it wrong though I followed the advice ……more googling required methinks

It’s was my first flight, first R/C experience, I know nowt about photography and never uTubed

Keeps you busy this doesn’t it ? :sunglasses:

So ? t=177 is the start time :face_with_monocle::face_with_raised_eyebrow: ?

looks really good, the first few flights are just fun and practice. They can be a little scary. One thing you might want to look at is getting an ND filter. They are brilliant for those sunny or bright days.

Not sure how you got the link, obviously, but if my right-clicking the video that’s playing in YouTube, there are (amongst other options) two that provide a URL, and one of them for “at the current time”.

So - the one underlined in green is the one you need.

Thanks I will do ……when Mrs MM forgets about the expenditure so far = cost of Tony Drony, iPhone for a screen, licence etc etc

She is extremely patient as those on group who know her will testify but she has limits and I’m sailing or flying very close to them

MM

Thanks that makes sense

I’ll have a fly later taking on board what I’ve been advised and uTube another vid …… :clapper: take 2

MM

Anyone have any experience with this ?

@Install3balls see this thread:

Needs some sound. Especially with a 5+ minute video.
Try to keep you videos around the 3 minute mark for a video of just flying around, as most people start to lose interest around the 30-45 sec point so without sound that will get even shorter.
Try to get the movements smoother. So gently speed up and slow down including and panning moves or gimbal alterations. Also check your camera settings as the sky is over exposed.
But good first go.

I did look but this group size is huge with all it’s topics and if you don’t know your way around you end up rabbit holing

Thanks Steve

I’ve just put a messing about utube link on groups

Still learning the sensitivity of the controls, I think I’m winning :innocent:

Hi Guys

I’ve now added sound to my second vid as per your valuable advice

It’s not Cecil B De Mille but I am still playing around with it
