A quick snap when landing
Closed due to short staff. Can they not reach the counter.
Ankle biters
This is a useful site when you want a drink.
@richrab I think that site has been slashdotted in this heat
I like this one, having been its a reminder that someone in the world at some point is having a beer
Had a 4 mile circular walk around the local area yesterday and took in the “Hetton Wash Dub” on the way home. If you look closely at the photos of the beck you will see the slots in the stone where they put the wooden planks to damn the beck.
I used to well enjoy that too !
Sometimes not the pong tho
I actually prefer 330ml very cold can of full fat coke (or the 250 as shown I guess!). Plastic bottles indeed are awful, and glass not too bad, but personally a 330 can is my occasional treat I too used to drink a hella lot of the stuff back in the day!
Not too bad Rich tbh, this is at the HS2 site, pipe is redundant but need it cleaned before they fill it with concrete for piling, only another 650m on this section
They’ll regret that if pootin starts dootin things
An amazing day sailing on the Solent with the Steamship Shieldhall out of Southampton.
She is the largest operational historic steamship in Europe and I think I lost a few pounds in weight down in the engine room!
She’s my most captured vessel when out with my drone.
Arty Farty Abstract image of our hotel building.
Specifically a side on view of the illuminated balcony’s with the black starless night sky
Cracking photo, especially for a smartphone in low light
It reminds me a bit of the old Computers and blues album cover
iPhone 15 Pro Max, 5x optical zoom, edited in Snapseed to get the visual composition I had in my minds eye (crop, slight rotation, slight vertical adjustment)
Great pic. Due to the shades of light, looks like it could work just as good or better as a mono or noir pic
