As the title says ‘my first drone’. DJI fc40 9 years ago, this month. My word spent a fortune on the next 9 drones. What a journey

I have two, Mavic Platinum and Mini 2, very good.
I think I will leave it at that now as they do the job.
Unless herself spends more money on her stitching and scrapbook toys of course !!

Ah yes I do understand. I have now whittled it down to mavic3 pro, mini3 pro and Dji avata 1. The rest passed on to Grandson, sold 2 and gave 2 to my brother. Not buying anymore.

What camera/gimbal setup did you have mounted on that pic?
It’s the model before the Phantom.
My P2 has the three-axis gimbal and GoPro, but that looks like the older 2 axis.

Batteries aren’t any use any more, but I do have it, yup. Never been able to justify the expensive non-genuine replacements.

I even used it for a post/video to demonstrate how compass positioning/orientation isn’t critical.

Somewhere I had a couple of decent pics of it with the replacement legs I added … and they’ll be on here, too, somewhere. Can’t find on here, or my laptop. I’ll dig further.

I bought my first drone (DJI mini 3) 6 weeks ago, 5 weeks ago I also bought my second drone ( DJI Air 3) 
couldn’t help my self 
it was like a drug loving them both.
