Hi folks
Can anyone help me out?
I took my Mavic Mini out today, I’ve just put the Memory card in my computer and no matter which media player I try to open it with its saying on WMV that it’s the wrong codec, it’s only an mp4 so I don’t see what the issue is.
I’m a bit thick when it comes to technology but I know enough to get by.
Also the Mem card was working yesterday as I watched a video from when I was messing about with the drone out the back of house, Mem card is brand new Sandisk ultra 32gb C10 U1 A1
I’d picked a cracking view up the Peak District and I want to see it On the Vid.
Any help would be great
Thanks
Can you upload it to YouTube and see if it plays ok there?
Did you format the card in the Mavic Mini, or using your computer?
What were the resolution and frame rate settings you were using?
Have you tried VLC Media Player?
U1 is a tad on the slow side. U3 is recommended.
Windows movie maker?
I formatted it through Computer
I haven’t got a clue what the frame rates or resolution were, I’ve only just had my Mini so I don’t even know where to look for that yet.
Yes tried VLC I love that programme I watch nearly everything through it.
looks like I’m buying some U3 Mem cards then,
Although worked fine yesterday.
Pingspike I’ll try that tomorrow I’ve put it away for now before I throw my toys out the pram.
Thanks for your input folks much appreciated
Always best to format in the drone. This ensures you get the precise formatting parameters that the drone firmware is expecting.
If you were recording 4k - then the U1 card might be the cause.
Very difficult to say which possible problem is the one that caused it - or a combination. Only possible to point out the possible causes for you to check on.
This
This!
U1 should be more than fast enough on the mini.
Max bit rate is lower than original MP at 40mb/s
Oh - yeah - I thought I read it was quite a bit more. Must be thinking MA2.
I’d edge a bet on it being formatted on the computer. I did it once and issues.
Just tried upload it to YouTube but getting the No entry sign when I try to drag it over.
Maybe it is like you say la4501 that it was formatted on Comp.
Oh well you live and learn
Thanks guys
What is the file name showing as?
Can you actually copy the file from the card to your computer?
File name DJI_004
Yeah it’s in process of copying as we speak
Anything after the DJI_004? .mp4? .mov?
Yeah mp4 if I go further into it
If you want to stick it up on Dropbox, or similar, and PM the link to me, I’ve a few tools for video file recover that I can try.
Error code is 0xc00d36c4 if that helps
Is there anything Free other than Dropbox I’m not paying £7.99 a month lol
I don’t pay Dropbox anything.
Hopefully the file isn’t larger than 2gb?
There’s always Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, if you have those?
