Spotted these flying over kingsley vale today at about 2:30/3:00 pm!
the sound was amazing,like something out of a war film!made the hair on my neck stand up,beautiful sound… 
any one know what these are???

It’s the 80th anniversary of the battle of Britain today so was more than likely something to do with that

Could be the german equivalent to the spitfire the messerschmitt maybe.

Looks like they have fixed undercarriage so may well be trainers. Possibly Chipmunks.

In the picture below looks like the sun is reflecting off one of those red fittings on the wing tip
They did an air display out in the Channel Islands today. Were they on a south west heading going over Kingsley Vale @Firefox ?

I was posted at RAF Newton where we ran a flight of chipmunks. The one in the photo’s are chipmunks I’m sure.

They are most definitely NOT Chipmunks. 150hrs flying them.
Saw on the news these guys have been out flying with Spitfires this week
