Well down loaded again
Tried both of these as the 10.0.8 installer wouldn’t load so did from the zip file opened up and still no options in the motor tad 
So throwing in the towel and off out to destress and test the Apex …
Your configurator was right. You just downloaded the wrong firmware in the flasher.
That configurator will also work with all the old BF firmware as well as the new stuff.

What version of 4.3 did you try to install? Was your flight controller definitely in dfu mode?
Not sure what that is, at a punt is it the little switch on the FC ??
Ok so out of curiosity Ive just updated my Apex to 4.3-RC6 and it wouldnt work for me either. I had to run ImpulseRC Driver fixer which reinstalled the dfu driver to flight controller. Then it installed no problem. I bet you have the same issue Nick
You don’t need to use the switch. BF should do it for you when you start flashing.

Yeah mine wouldnt auto detect and wouldnt even go into dfu mode even with the boot button pressed. After running the driver fixer it connected automatically straight away

Yes… of course…
Btw, have the fc plugged in whilst running it as well…
It can also lose the fixed drivers over time, so don’t think that just because you fixed it once you won’t ever have to do it again.

Iv stripped everything out and starting again following this, bit heinz manual I now but essential for someone like me 
And guess what still no option to reconfig my motors in the tab …
Not being a defeatist as iv learnt 
loads while trying to sort this, but there has got to be another way of renumbering my motors… Can it be done in BL HELI and once there reconfig I can come back and follow the JB tutorials and set the rest of it up…
Nick did you run the ImpulseRC Driver Fixer that I suggested? I think that will sort out your issue.

Yah ran the impulse driver fixer but tbh iv seen a vid somewhere on yt so could look for that as don’t want to put folk out … im out ATM as her indoor is complaining as spent all day sorting this out … does she not understand how important this is …lol

Iv logged on this morning and this has appeared in BF
So iv now managed to change the direction of my motors therefore its just a case of testing the Nazgul now …
Quite excited as Iv splashed out on this 1 and fitted the CADDX Pro cam…

I’m just going through the JB vids setting it all up which Id like to do with all my quads eventually…
Really excited about the preset tuning tad would mind trying a some of those, has anyone used them yet if so whats your thoughts

Ive got the Superfly 5" preset tune on my Apex and that works pretty cool. Thats the only one Ive tried so far but UAV Tech has also got preset tunes on there that I want to try out soon
