Yeah as your Transmitter is talking to the receiver which then sends the signal out to the flight controller to tell the quad what to do 
Oh ok I get it now. Iāll get that sbus in de soldered and solder the yellow wire into the sbus out tomorrow
Then you can get to setting up betaflight

Iām actually doing this right now in a replica Big Meet pink tutu mate 
I canāt thank you enough for helping me with this itās seems so stupid to have spent that long just for it to be a wire soldered worng

Indeed - if you aināt fixing then you arent flying Fpv
Sounds like a great hobby to get into if you have a tendency to get annoyed at things really easilyš
Itās a roller coaster. Your emotions will vary from loving flying to wishing you had bought something that didnāt require fixing and back - frequently.
Itās a steep learning curve but one we are all on and help each other out
