I’ve been on here a few times since getting my DJI Mini 3 in July, and I thought it was finally time to sign up!
I’ve got a good few hours of flying under my belt now, mainly while on trips to the Peak District and Scotland. I’ve not found too many local spots (Northamptonshire) for flying/videography so if anyone has any suggestions, please do let me know!
I have always enjoyed photography but the photo/video editing side of things always eludes me, so I’m hoping to learn a lot from everyone here.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. I’ve enjoyed doing Sixfields Stadium, lift tower and Franklins Gardens. Welland Viaduct is also great for content, Pitsford Reservoir too nice and early in the morning!
