New(ish) member and first video

Hi, I’m Steve from just outside Reading in Berkshire. As a newly retired IT consultant, I purchased my first drone (DJI M4P) last year and have been starting to get the hang of it despite the awful weather here in the UK of late!

I have been a keen photographer since I was about 7 and wanted to get a drone to allow me to take arial photos. However, since retiring I have started to get into video making as well, so the drone now has two uses!

I joined the club last year and have been following in the background, but now I have more time, I intend to take a more active part. So, here is my first attempt at publishing a short video of a local church taken a couple of weeks ago. I used Davinci Resolve (which is also another steep learning curve) but quite pleased with the results.

@Steve48 Great 1st video Steve. I get the ‘getting into video thing’, just over 3 yrs ago I’d never taken photos, other than quick snapshots, or video’s and now I cant stop!

Great 1st video. I am yet to publish one. We did one for our friend but can not publish that one as there is an agreement with the music company that we can use their music for personal items. Hopefully one day will find a good subject and do our first video. Looking forward to sharing it when we do.
