New member, central Scotland

Not totally new to drones, but new to the forum. Had my P4P for a fair few years now but not got as much use as I wanted out of it purely due to size. When it’s the choice between my camera or the phantom the camera usually came out on top.

Recently upgraded to a M3 and hoping to get out and about a lot more. Obviously its forecast to pour it down for the next couple of weeks when I’m off

I’m primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer (hobby only) so the restrictive regs wont have too much of an impact on me at the moment, we will see what happens between now and 2026.

Been lurking on the forum for a few weeks, you all seem like a friendly helpful bunch. Hoping to be a valuable member of the community.

You’ve certainly captured some stunning videos of the place!

Just a shame about the rain, but it’s what keeps us looking so green!

Thanks, Scotland is an amazingly beautiful place, Imy video’s do it poor justice, its even better in reality… We hope to move there is the next 10 years, semi-retire and take up crafting - a bit of woodturning, pyrography, leatherwork and blacksmithing, and sell it to the tourists

Hi I’m relatively new to the forum and just started to use a drone. Like you I have been a landscape photographer in the past.
I live in Fife.

Just started a YouTube channel and yes the weather ain’t great atm.

The weather has been terrible, recently picked up a Mavic 3 and we’ve had two suitable flying days with the weather.

There’s some amazing beaches and shorelines, just be cautious as Fifes official stance on drones is not to be flown on any council owned/managed land.
