Hello everyone! I’m delighted to be join. Let me tell you a bit about myself:
I’ve had a lifelong interest in photography and have been an active member of a local photographic society. Interest is stills photography, particularly travel and especially African wildlife when I get the opportunity to go to South Africa.
In addition to my photography interests, I also held a private pilot’s license in the past and had the opportunity to teach cadets to fly. I logged many hours of flight time before our aircraft were grounded. While flying, I enjoyed taking aerial photos, though it was limited as I was concentrating on teaching or just flying, primarily looking out for other aircraft. Helped to give me a good understanding of airspace and weather.
More recently, I’ve just started drone photography and have bought a DJI Mini 4. I’m mainly focused on taking photos, but I’ve also become fascinated by the art of hyperlapse.
I enjoy planning and will be looking for ideas.
