Hello Drone people. Just signed up to join. I have been fancying a drone for too many years and I went and bought a DJI Mini 4 Pro on Monday (6/11/23). I have flown fixed wing models, but that was last done forty or more years ago, I guess I have just stepped on to a steep learning curve.
My other interests are photography (mostly landscape and just starting astro), Ham Radio and caravanning. Before anyone asks if it was me holding them up on the road, I very much doubt it as I tow with a Land Rover Discover powered by the V8 petrol engine.
I was heavily in to the off road 4X4 scene but I have a back injury which slowed me down. Just looking for a quiet life now. Does it really exist?

Welcome Trevor. Ilson ehh, my owd stomping ground. Changed a lot over the years. I attended Gladstone Boys School and Hallcroft ( now both distant memories) I remember both sides of Burr Lane, before they built the great divide that is Chalons Way.
You have some great places to fly nearby. Bennerley Viaduct, Cossall, Shipley Park etc
