Hi everyone,
Just bought my first drone; DJI Mini 4 Pro. Have tested in at home and already love it. Sometime next week, I’m taking it out. I have a pre-flight checklist and about 30 lessons taken from a raft of excellent YT channels! Looking forward to getting to know it.

welcome, not too far away from you, plus we have fairly regular meets around the north west that are great to meet others, see what others fly, chat, learn and impart some knowledge and see the occasional spectacular crash :shushing_face:

I’ll look into local events early next year after I’ve got used to flying it. As for er… ‘spectacular crashes’, this has just cost me an arm and a leg so will probably try to avoid those :laughing:

you shouldn’t have any crashes with the m4p, its got sensors in every direction. I’ve only had 1 crash with the m3p and never had any with the mini 2… FPV it can be an occupational hazard of not judging the ground profile… and trying to skim across it.
