Hello from a new member located near Cannock Staffordshire. I’m absolutely new to flying drones having purchased my first a week ago and bought my second today from a friend who is upgrading.
Ive registered with the CAA & completed the test successfully so I’m virtually ready to get flying.
Ive had both drones set up & flying in my garden earlier today so im now just beyond the basics.
I’ve read here that there are members flying in St Georges Park and the arboretum at walsal so I expect to meet some of you over the coming weeks.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.

Hi thanks for the welcome, ive been away since registering & yes id love to meet up at st georges sometime. Do you have a regular day at st georges.
Ive decided im going to upgrade to a mini 4 pro in the next few weeks so ill sell my mini 4k fairly shortly while its still new.

No mate, just go when I have the feeling. If it’s not raining, howling wind or a blizzard, I’ll go over the park. I don’t work, so I can go anytime I want really, just let me know when you want a fly and I’ll charge some batteries
