New member South Norfolk (not new to RC)

What’s to say? Been lurking for a little while now, but decided to bite the bullet and go GOLD.

My flying experience covers many disciplines.I mainly fly RC aeroplanes from mini micro machines up to turbines.

Recently I purchased a Mini 4K for some projects at work, that was soon followed by a Mini 3.
Next on the list is a Mini 5Pro. Going to wait on that one in the hope that when the rumoured Mini 6Pro is released the price may drop on the 5. :crossed_fingers:

My first interaction with the group was an offer of a free DJI bag from a member. All went smoothly and the bag has been put to good use.

I really would like to get into editing my videos.

Here is one from a few weeks ago.

So off to spend my £25.00 now and hope to interact with many of you.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.

There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.

Our Bronze Members are able to enjoy a lot of great services for free but our Silver and Gold Members are eligible for a whole lot more! Read all the details about our Membership Benefits?

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to GADC from a fellow Norfolk boy.
I have also flown from Billingford Mill, a great spot to fly. Another is just a few hundred yards away at the Waveney bridge. There’s a parking spot there and its nice fly up and down the waveney valley.

Where do you fly your airplanes?

I am currently a member of Bury Model club. We lease Knettishall airfield. Another site I hope to film.
