New to drones, living in Slough

Hi everyone,

I’m from Slough so not far from Heathrow airport unfortunately.
I have the Operator & Pilot ID’s, & I’m attempting to do the A2 CoC.
So far I’ve only flown in my garden at 6am on weekends so I’m keen to get out to a larger safer area as soon as I can.

I’ve seen drone footage many times & as a keen photographer I wanted to broaden my options for picture taking & videos.

Depending on where you are in Slough, the chances are the Windsor Castle restriction may be a bigger issue than Heathrow …

Thanks for the welcome & advice.
I’m in Wexham, Slough so a few miles away from Windsor Castle so I don’t think that will be an issue.
I’ve just noticed that Heathrow has a NOTAM in place until April next year so I need to do some research before I do anything daft :wink::+1:t2:

Check on Drone Scene …

… only NOTAM in the area is for Ascot Races.

I only own an Air 2, but I can hear it from about a 100 meters away. I’m tempted to buy a Mini 3 already, this is just one more push in that directon… :smiley:

Unfortunately I don’t know how loud the air 2 is so I can’t compare the two. To me though, the mini 3 is pretty quiet. Perhaps those with more knowledge could advise you, after all, this is my first drone.
