Hey everyone! I’m Callum, 26 and I’m new to the forum and to drone flying. I live in Clevedon in North Somerset and I’ve recently bought myself a DJI Mini 3 with the RC controller.
Taken it on a couple flights already, still getting over the drone anxiety!
I am really struggling however to find interesting photos/video to take, especially since Somerset is so flat, and the weather is so grey in the UK at the moment. So would be so grateful for any tips anyone may have!

Amazing thank you so much! I’ve been thinking about doing Cheddar, just a bit confused on all the SSSI rules…!
Will definitely look at doing the pier soon, once I get a bit more confident with flying over water and the weather brightens up a bit!
Fantastic list, thank you! All these places I usually would’ve ignored but having a drone has re-ignited my creative juices! I was actually going to go down to Burnham today, but checked and there was a NOTAM because of Kite flying. So really didn’t want to get in the way of that!
