Hi Everybody,

Newbie from between Derby and Burton.

Been a couple of weeks since I received my mini 2. Have completed a few flights and found a handful of local flying spots near me. Really enjoying the new hobby!

If anyone wants to meet up for a fly and/or a chin wag then get in touch!

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Welcome aboard, Be nice to meet up sometime. I tend to go out to the Peak District & Hope Valley. I’d also like to go to the Blue Lagoon/Quarry near Buxton if anyone is interested, Cheers Steve

So far I’ve been to: Swarkestone, Brailsford, Barrow and Tutbury without any issues. I just use Komoot to find a public footpath and take off from there!

Just found a good spot off infinity way in Chello, footpath through the fields near the disused island!
