Hi all. After years of watching and researching the drone scene from a far, I finally bit the bullet and bought my first drone (which i’m eagerly awaiting to arrive on my doorstep any day now). Although I have read a lot and watched loads of YouTube clips, its definitely not the same as speaking to people and getting some real info. Looking forward to speak to some of you and getting some hints and tips.

Just remember you have Blackpool Airport and Warton Aerodrome nearby.
Blackpool ATC are really good at approving flight requests. Never had to ask Warton yet.

Warton are good as well. Especially if you ars going to fly at the weekend.

Keep an eye out for meet ups.
@group-northwest are quite prolific in how many we have. Been known to have 1 or 2 at the tower and Fleetwood. We also tend to meet up in Skelmersdale quite alot.

Yeah I work at Warton and know a few people so should t be too much of a problem hopefully. Especially after finding the forums mentioning about the app for Blackpool and Warton requests.
